Paged design around the corners
Paged.js is a browser based PDF generation tool to create printed pages out of HTML. We have some excellent examples of how paged.js is helping designers and book developers to publish their content.
However, making books requires much more than templates and automatic type settings - it needs tools to help designers design with HTML and CSS.
Nicolas is a designer (polylogue.com), publisher (cfeditions.com) and embeded designer in ex-situ inria team (ex-situ.lri.fr). He is a user and modest contributor of Pagedjs. He'll briefly present and demo his latest works and research focusing on the author - designer iterative collaboration for the creation of a publication.
Julien is part of the Paged.js team, and try to help user integrate Paged.js in their workflow and tools. During this event, he’ll demo some prototypes and examples of how Paged.js can be used to push the page further.
