Better Sharing, Brighter Future
In the last two decades, Creative Commons (CC) has helped shape the culture around sharing, increasing access to valuable information, historic images, scientific articles, educational resources, cultural artifacts, and so much more. Greater access to information means a stronger global community, more innovation, and increased capacity to solve the challenges the world faces today and in the years to come.
Today, CC licenses and legal tools are the foundation of the broader open movement, sharing nearly two billion works in over 86 countries; but as we face new challenges that interrupt knowledge creation and sharing, there is still work to do. Better sharing for a brighter future means expanded efforts in education, science, culture and more in order to create a world where everyone has access. What does better sharing mean to you?
