In this presentation, the Manifold team will discuss how Manifold ( http://manifoldapp.org ) can be used to publish a wide range of materials, including scholarly monographs, open educational materials, critical editions, archival materials, and student work. We will demo some of the new and soon-to-be released features of Manifold that make it easier to teach classes using the platform and will share designs for journal publishing on Manifold. We will discuss how the platform is being put to use at a range of institutions, including the University of Minnesota Press, CUNY, Brown University, and Arte Publico Press to publish interactive monographs. With particular attention to the possible uses of Manifold for teaching and research,this session will highlight the ways that interactive online publishing can help a wide variety of publishers share their work.
