Pressbooks Directory was first conceived of in conversation with users of the Pressbooks Authoring & Editing platform. Steel Wagstaff, educational product manager, asked users, “What can we do to help?”

They responded, “Help us share and discover OER.”

And so the Directory was born.

Today the Pressbooks Directory includes over 2500 publicly available books created by Pressbooks users. Join John McLeod as he walks participants through the many ways to find books that are available to adopt and adapt. He will show the great variety of subjects, demonstrate how to search for books with interactive elements, and explain how and by whom curated collections are created.

Pressbooks Directory is free for everyone to use and requires no sign in or account set up.
