Opening up the research process
Since RIO Journal was launched in late 2015, it has stimulated experimentation around the publication of and engagement with research processes, especially those with a strong open science component. In this session, we will zoom in on some of its key features - publication types all along the research cycle, mapped to societal challenges, organized into community-driven collections - and highlight what forms of engagement have evolved around that and how they relate to the wider publishing landscape.
